What I Have Been Up To

I thought it would fun to start writing blog posts about what I am up to.

Right now I am on winter break from UNCSA and trying to stay busy. A few weeks ago I mixed a small Christmas concert for Theatre Raleigh called: A December to Remember. Now, I am taking a few trainings, and starting to look at summer jobs. I am taking the Sound System Design and Advanced equalization courses from SynAudCon which will strengthen my system design and tuning knowledge and teach me new skills like FIR filtering. I am also taking a course on Sound System Design and Optimization for large scale arena and stadium shows in a few days. I am really looking forward to learning about these massive systems and, “How to Manage 9 Octaves In 6 Dimensions”. It seems summer stocks are posting the jobs later than they normally would with the uncertainty due to covid, but there are a few that have started. I figure it would still be great to send resumes and chat with people even if this summer doesn't work out!
